A day earlier, while three policemen were working with local residents to move vehicles and equipment from the Madagui Traffic Police Station on Bao Loc Pass to avoid landslides, hundreds of cubic meters of rock and soil suddenly collapsed from the hillside.

Lam Dong province has mobilized more than 200 police officers, soldiers and other forces along with nearly 20 vehicles (excavators, dump trucks, drills, detectors...) to search for buried victims. On the evening of July 30, authorities found the bodies of three traffic police officers. The remaining bodies of civilians were found this afternoon.

On the morning of July 31, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and leaders of Lam Dong province visited the landslide scene. He requested the authorities to quickly overcome the consequences of the landslide and ensure absolute safety for the task force.
