Arsenal and the plan to buy Jeremie Frimpong
With the ambition to compete for the Premier League championship, Arsenal plans to transfer versatile winger Jeremie Frimpong.
Arsenal have been in a slump since Christmas 2023, winning just one point in their last three Premier League games and having just been knocked out of the FA Cup by Liverpool.
That forced coach Mikel Arteta to strengthen his squad, after a summer transfer window that saw record spending in the club's history.
Frimpong has been outstanding with 6 assists for Leverkusen in the Bundesliga this season. If he joins Arsenal, the 23-year-old Dutch player will be an important support behind Bukayo Saka on the right wing.

Alexander Isak likely to leave Newcastle
In a surprising move, Newcastle admit they are likely to lose Alexander Isak, one of their most important players.
Due to the Premier League's strict rules on profitability and sustainability, Newcastle may have to put Isak on the transfer market.
Experts estimate Newcastle have accumulated losses of over €150m (£130m), despite having one of the world's richest owners (Saudi Arabia's Sovereign Investment Fund) behind them.
The problem Newcastle is facing gives hope to many clubs wanting Isak such as MU, Chelsea, Arsenal or Man City.

MU is likely to part ways with Casemiro
After a difficult first half of the season, MU intends to strengthen their midfield and Youssouf Fofana is the name mentioned by coach Erik ten Hag.
MU does not rule out the possibility of parting with Casemiro, while Amrabat has not met expectations as he has shown at Fiorentina and the Morocco national team (currently also participating in the African football tournament).
Fofana is a mainstay at Monaco with a contract until 2025. The 25-year-old is also a regular in the France squad and is hoping to play at EURO 2024.
French press said that Monaco wants MU to pay a transfer fee of no less than 40 million Euros to agree to let Fofana leave.
