Arsenal considers keeping Ben White

Arsenal are planning to extend the contract of Ben White, one of the most important factors in coach Mikel Arteta's football project.

Ben White's contract runs until 2026 but Arsenal believe an extension is necessary to secure the England defender's future.

Ben White joined Arsenal from Brighton in the summer of 2021 for £50m. After a difficult first season, the 26-year-old has become an important player since last season.

White's versatility was exploited by coach Arteta by placing him at right-back, with his outstanding ability to participate in attacks, especially passes from the final third of the field.

Ben White joins a group of long-time regulars who have signed new contracts, including Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard and William Saliba. The new deal will see him earn more than his current £120,000-a-week salary.

Chelsea in no rush to extend young player Ian Maatsen's contract

Barca are paying special attention to Ian Maatsen, a promising young face of Chelsea as well as the Netherlands U21 team.

Maatsen can play in many positions on the left wing. This season, coach Mauricio Pochettino has used him in 6 Premier League matches, but only accumulated 83 minutes.

Maatsen's contract is entering its final months and Chelsea are in no rush to negotiate an extension.

This is an opportunity for Barca. The Catalan team needs to add wingers and is looking for players whose contracts are about to expire.

Chelsea do not rule out the possibility of selling Maatsen in January 2024 to avoid losing the 21-year-old player for free. In that case, Barca may have to spend 12-15 million Euros.

MU interested in Ukrainian football talent

According to sources from England, MU is one of the big teams currently pursuing Heorhiy Sudakov, the pearl of Ukrainian football and Shakhtar Donetsk Club.

At 21, Sudakov has an important position in the Shakhtar squad, with 180 minutes of the 2023/24 Champions League group stage.

Sudakov and Illya Zabarnyi are the two youngest players currently competing for a ticket to EURO 2024 with Ukraine. Both were born on September 1, 2002.

Sudakov is a versatile and well-rounded midfielder, an attacking midfielder who can also play on the left wing, making him an ideal replacement for Eriksen.

Besides MU, Arsenal and Juventus are also interested in signing Sudakov in the summer transfer window of 2024.

Coach Erik ten Hag wants to keep Scott McTominay after the player scored twice to help MU come from behind to beat Brentford 2-1.

Coach Ten Hag will not allow McTominay to leave Old Trafford

Last summer transfer window, Scott McTominay was one of the names that the Red Devils publicly advertised for sale.

The 26-year-old midfielder has attracted interest from West Ham and Newcastle but transfer negotiations have stalled as MU demand a fee of up to £50 million.

In fact, McTominay no longer has a place under coach Ten Hag. Therefore, the Dutch strategist is willing to sell him to raise money to invest in other new players.

However, after an explosive performance against Brentford, when McTominay came off the bench to score twice, the Scottish midfielder's importance at United was re-evaluated.

According to Daily Star , coach Ten Hag will not allow McTominay to leave Old Trafford in the upcoming winter transfer window.

The Dutch tactician feels he cannot afford to lose another key player amid a squad ravaged by injuries.

With MU having difficulty scoring, McTominay will bring more attacking solutions to the Red Devils of Manchester when they are stuck.

On average, Scott McTominay scores every 89 minutes for Manchester United and Scotland. He maintains the highest scoring rate of any player at Old Trafford.
