MU's transfer plan prioritizes young stars, including center-back Antonio Silva, who has caused a stir in Europe in recent seasons.

Newcastle want to recruit Donny van de Beek

According to the British press, Newcastle intends to recruit midfielder Donny van de Beek when the winter transfer market officially opens.

Van de Beek is not in coach Erik ten Hag's plans. Recently, the Dutch player publicly requested to leave MU to find playing opportunities.

Newcastle's squad is currently short of personnel. Manager Eddie Howe is without Sandro Tonali, Elliot Anderson, Sean Longstaff or Joe Willock due to long-term suspensions or injuries.

That is why coach Eddie Howe is targeting Van de Beek, a versatile player who is capable of providing many tactical solutions.

Van de Beek arrived at MU in 2020 after exploding with Ajax but failed to show much. This season, the 26-year-old has only played 21 minutes in all competitions, including 2 minutes in the Premier League and 19 minutes in the League Cup.
