NDO - On October 8, authorities began temporarily closing a lane of National Highway 51 to repair a severely degraded section of the road. National Highway 51 is a vital route in the Southeast region, connecting dozens of large industrial parks in the country. However, many sections of the road have been damaged and degraded over time but have not been maintained or repaired.
