NDO - On the morning of April 4, more than 4,000 people from the military and police forces participated in a joint parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

On the morning of April 4, at the National Military Training Center 4, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member and Minister of National Defense, and General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, co-chaired the inspection of joint training and encouraged the forces participating in the parade and marching in the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Attending the event were Politburo members: General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense; General To Lam, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security; General Luong Cuong, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), and representatives of leaders of units of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security and forces participating in the parade.

The Vietnamese Women's Military Band with its majestic and resounding sounds is entering the Ceremony Stage.

The Dien Bien Phu Soldiers' Bloc with the following Divisions: 308 - Vanguard Army, 312 - Victory; 316 - Bong Lau, the core of several main army corps of the Ministry and the all-people national defense posture in the Northwest region.

The parade was held on the morning of May 7, 2024 after the rally at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, including four forces: artillery force, air force flying salute, parade force, and force standing on the field with more than 12,000 people.

Vietnam Women's Peacekeeping Unit of the Vietnam People's Army. Wearing the uniform of the United Nations peacekeeping force, in the 10-year journey of building and growing, the Vietnamese blue beret soldiers have been and are excellently completing the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.

During 2 hours of joint training, dozens of armed units of the army and police worked together smoothly, advancing through the stage at TB4.

The last group to enter the stage was the Mobile Police Cavalry.

The rehearsal at the National Military Training Center 4 with more than 4,000 soldiers, 27 units of the Vietnam People's Army and the People's Public Security force participated in the joint parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

General Phan Van Giang, on behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, praised the efforts of more than 4,000 people in the two forces who overcame difficulties and hot weather recently to practice and "basically meet the requirements".

The parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) was held on the morning of May 7, 2024, after the rally at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, including 4 forces: Artillery force, Air Force flying salute, parade force, and force standing on the field with more than 12,000 people.

The highlight of the parade was the participation of the artillery force including 18 105mm howitzers and 12 helicopters flying over the air force stands.
