Impressed with the Van Hoa Ho Va community ecotourism site

On October 27, 2023, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang province issued a decision to recognize Van Hoa Ho Va Community Ecotourism Site as a tourist destination.

The project aims to build a tourist destination to create a place for living, entertainment and relaxation; exploit existing potentials, create jobs for workers; develop the tourism industry to contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Mr. Tran Cong Thang - Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province presented congratulatory flowers.

The Van Hoa Ho Va community eco-tourism site has an area of 50 hectares in phase 1, located in Dong Phu commune, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province. This is one of the investment projects from enterprise development capital invested by Van Hoa Ho Va Cooperative, focusing on the potential and strengths of Luc Nam district, in line with the investment attraction policy of Bac Giang province.

It is known that this tourist spot is located in the Va Lake area with an area of over 21.3 hectares, surrounded by hills and low mountains, creating a beautiful landscape. Currently, the tourist spot is implementing the following items: Farm area for growing crops and raising livestock; lakeside area; cafe restaurants, community houses, accommodation areas, internal roads and parking lots...

Mr. Truong Quang Hai, Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang province, awarded the recognition of Van Hoa Ho Va tourist destination.

Developing community ecotourism at the destination of Van Hoa Ho Va is also an opportunity to promote and introduce local agricultural products, especially OCOP products.

Thereby, both improving community capacity and promoting consumption in the context of agricultural products and OCOP products increasing in quantity, output and production scale.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Dang Van Nhan, Chairman of Luc Nam District People's Committee congratulated Van Hoa Ho Va Cooperative and requested to urgently focus on completing investment procedures; pay attention to building infrastructure of tourist destinations associated with environmental protection, building unique tourism products of the Cooperative as a highlight, creating a difference, bringing many new experiences to tourists.

This Van Hoa Ho Va community eco-tourism site is located in the Va Lake area with an area of more than 21.3 hectares, surrounded by hills and low mountains, creating a charming landscape.

Through the ecotourism model, Van Hoa Ho Va Community Ecotourism Site will contribute to the implementation of four basic goals: Helping people to be aware and responsible in protecting and enhancing the natural environment; Creating jobs for local people; Increasing income for people through increasing consumption of products and goods for tourists.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Luc Nam district added that Luc Nam is a mountainous district of Bac Giang province, with a geographical location, natural conditions, diverse resources and spiritual culture, very favorable for tourism development. The whole district has 426 relic sites, including 16 national relic sites and 69 provincial relic sites... with many famous relic sites and tourist sites such as Suoi Mo, Binh Long Pagoda, Kham Lang Pagoda...

In order to promote the potential and advantages of the locality in recent times, the task of tourism development has been focused on by the District Party Committee and the People's Committee of Luc Nam District. The district has invested in building many infrastructure projects to develop tourism such as the tourist route around Suoi Mo Lake, the bypass road to Suoi Mo Eco-tourism Area, Than Nong Temple, etc.

After more than 3 years of implementing the Resolution of the District Party Committee, with the attention of the province and the efforts and determination of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the district.

In the past 3 years, the whole district welcomed nearly 1 million domestic and foreign tourists with 470 groups of visitors, successfully organized the annual spring festival, activities responding to the Cultural and Tourism Week of Bac Giang province in the district, creating a good impression in the hearts of tourists.

Especially at the launching ceremony, Van Hoa Ho Va Cooperative also donated 30 million VND to support the local Fund for the Poor and support disadvantaged students in the district.
