Late on November 10, the official nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards were officially announced. Notably, the group Ngọt was nominated for Best Boxset or Special Limited Edition Package. This award is for the artist who designed the album.

Competing with the album Gieo are the following works: The Collected Works Of Neutral Milk Hotel - artist group Jeff Mangum; Daniel Murphy & Mark Ohe; For The Birds: The Birdsong Project - Jeri Heiden & John Heiden; Inside: Deluxe Box Set - Bo Burnham & Daniel Calderwood; and Words & Music, May 1965: Deluxe Edition - Masaki Koike.

On his personal page, artist Duy Dao happily shared this joy. He wrote: "Art Direction and Design for Ngọt's album Gieo has just been nominated for the 2024 Grammy - Special Publication Design Category. (I think I'm lucky to be the first Vietnamese to be nominated and also the first designer and art director from Southeast Asia). Thank you to my family, friends and the whole team for always trying with me. Thank you Ngọt band for always trusting and being patient."
On his personal website, Duy Dao introduced that he has received many prestigious awards in the world such as: Art Directors Club Award (USA), International Design Award (USA)... His works have been exhibited in 16 countries. Duy Dao has also been invited to share at prestigious universities and organizations, such as the Design Week of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA).
The Grammy Awards are an annual award presented by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States to honor artists who have made outstanding contributions to the music industry worldwide. The event was first held in 1959 and has gradually become one of the most prestigious awards.
