Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa organizes Tree Planting Festival 2024

On the morning of February 24, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam - Nam Thanh Hoa branch coordinated with the People's Committee of Thuong Xuan district to organize the launching ceremony of the Tet tree planting campaign to forever remember Uncle Ho in 2024 with the theme "Agribank for a green future, more trees - more life".

Representative of Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa leadership presented the symbol of donating 10,000 trees to Van Xuan commune (Thuong Xuan).

The Tet Tree Planting Program is an annual activity organized by Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa branch right in the first days of the new spring to practically contribute to Agribank to realize the goal of planting one million trees each year, towards "for a green Vietnam". Through the program, it also aims to contribute to greening barren land and hills, while helping local people in the province have a source of tree seedlings to develop the hill and forest economy, increase income, and improve life.

Ms. Trinh Thi Kim Lien, Deputy Director, Chairwoman of Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa Trade Union spoke at the ceremony.

At the launching ceremony of the 2024 Tree Planting Festival, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa presented 10,000 seedlings to people in Van Xuan commune. Immediately after the launching ceremony of the Tree Planting Festival, a large number of officials, union members, bank employees, local authorities and people of Thuong Xuan district went to the hill to plant the first new trees in the new year 2024.

It is known that from 2020 to present, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa branch has allocated funds to donate more than 100,000 seedlings, thousands of shade trees, and fruit trees to localities in the province. At the same time, more than 16 billion VND has been spent on implementing social security programs, affirming the role and responsibility of enterprises for community development.

Immediately after the launching ceremony of the Tet tree planting festival, a large number of cadres, union members, bank employees, local authorities and people of Thuong Xuan district also directly went to the hill to plant the first new trees in the new year 2024.

With the message “Agribank - For a green future”, officers and employees of Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa have been carrying out positive and meaningful activities, sharing the difficulties and hardships of people in many localities in the province, especially with people in remote areas.
