After more than 10 months of silence, girl group Aespa consisting of 4 members Karima, Winter, Giselle and Ningning just made an impressive comeback with a new mini album called "My World", released on the afternoon of May 8.

As of 6:15 p.m. on May 12 (Korean time), "My World" has sold 1,564,704 copies on the Hanteo distribution system.
Previously, on the afternoon of May 8, SM Entertainment confirmed that the album had more than 1.8 million pre-orders after 3 weeks of being on sale, becoming the girl group album with the second highest number of pre-orders, after their senior BlackPink.
Notably, Aespa achieved this record after only 4 days of release. This is also the only group to have 2 albums in the Top 5 best-selling Kpop girl group albums in the first week of releasing a music product.
Brand new look

The MV for “Spicy” tells the story of unusual phenomena that occur to Aespa, who have returned to the real world, continuing the story from Kwangya. The song’s rhythm has a strong synth bass feel but still has a new color compared to the group’s previous products.
Aespa's trendy high teen style in "Spicy" is said to be inspired by the movie "Mean Girls" - with sunny American scenes, a festive atmosphere, and mixed virtual effects.
The images in the MV immediately remind the audience of a vibrant summer. In addition, the cheerful dance music is also suitable to impress fans this summer.
According to Karina, this is the first time the four members of Aespa have made a music video overseas. SM Entertainment has not yet revealed the budget for the album “My World”, but just looking at the designer clothes that are all over the MV is enough to show how much SM is willing to spend.
