In a talk show by pharmacist Tien, 4th runner-up of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 Mai Ngo shocked everyone when she revealed that she graduated from grade 12 with average conduct.
Mai Ngo revealed the story of graduating from high school with average conduct.
Mai Ngo said that when she was in high school, she had to go to school and dance at weddings, so she was often late for class.
She was given an average conduct grade because she was late for more classes than the school required. On the 45th class, she was 5 minutes late again and had to stand outside the classroom door. The teacher wrote in the notebook that Mai Ngo did not attend that class.
"In the morning, school ended at 11:45, but I had to be at the restaurant at 11:30. I often sneaked out and went home early. I worked in shifts, so I was 30-45 minutes late to class. It can be said that that time was quite terrifying because I had to go to school and work at the same time, and my schedule overlapped," the beauty cried as she recalled.
Mai Ngo said she still did all her homework, took tests and exams seriously and reviewed her lessons. Although her academic performance was not highly rated, she was always enthusiastic about participating in the school's cultural and artistic activities. After graduating from high school, Mai decided not to go to university because she did not have a clear direction.
From then on, she began to pursue an artistic career and became known to many audiences through reality shows.
Looking back, the beauty born in 1995 feels that she was too impulsive, always "ruffling her feathers" whenever she was not satisfied with something. Although her senior Thanh Hang advised her to restrain herself to pursue art, she still encountered difficulties in the process of perfecting herself during those years.
After putting her studies on hold, Mai Ngo focused on pursuing an artistic career.
In 2017, she participated in Miss Universe Vietnam, passed the preliminary round and entered the top 70 but then withdrew from the contest.
In 2018, Mai Ngo entered the acting field with the movie "Thach Thao" directed by Mai The Hiep.
In 2022, she entered the beauty pageant and won the title of 4th Runner-up of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022. Recently, she attracted attention when she became a coach at Miss Transgender Vietnam 2023, helping her student Diu Thao win the crown.
