Lo Thi Bich from Bung Lao, Muong Ang (Dien Bien) is a new student of the Faculty of Journalism at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi. Every time she visits the martyrs' cemetery or revisits the historical site of Dien Bien Phu Victory, she feels proud and moved.
On the morning of October 14, she proudly wore traditional Thai clothing and respectfully lit incense on the graves of unknown martyrs.
"I am from Dien Bien. Since my school days, I have visited the cemetery and relics in Dien Bien Phu many times. But this time I was really touched because it was like reporting my study results to those who died for independence and freedom on this land" - Bich said.
Not only Lo Thi Bich, many new students receiving the "Tie Suc Den Truong" scholarship were moved as they walked through the tunnel door, silently looking back at the models of bombs and bullets of the war.

In high school, Long's favorite subject was history. Today, Long had the chance to see the A1 Hill relic, visit the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum, and burn incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs. The pharmacy student could not help but be moved.
"I choked up when I walked through the tunnel in front of the martyrs' shrine on Hill A1. The most special thing was when the tour guide told the story of the generation of fathers and grandfathers going to the front with no return date, and before going to battle, soldiers had to predict the number of people who would have to sacrifice themselves" - Long confided.
The group of students also visited the Dien Bien Phu Museum and admired the giant painting by more than 200 artists recreating the long-term battle and the world-shaking victory of the Vietnamese army.
