At the end of the afternoon Math exam, the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam had a quick report. Accordingly, there were 2,323 exam sites and 44,775 exam rooms nationwide on the afternoon of June 27.
The total number of candidates registered for the Math exam is 1,050,224. There were 1,046,156 candidates taking the exam, reaching a rate of 99.61%.
In this afternoon's exam, there were 3 candidates nationwide who violated the exam regulations (including 1 case of reprimand and 2 cases of suspension from the exam).
Thus, at the end of the first day of the exam, nationwide, 9/10 candidates who violated the exam regulations were suspended from the exam (2 cases in Math and 7 candidates in Literature).
Tomorrow morning, candidates will take the exam in Natural Sciences or Social Sciences, and tomorrow afternoon, candidates will take the exam in Foreign Languages.
Tomorrow (June 28), candidates will continue to take the combined exam of Natural Sciences (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Social Sciences (including History, Geography, Civic Education) in the morning, starting at 7:35. Each subject has 50 minutes to complete.
In the afternoon, candidates will take the Foreign Language exam (English, Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese and Korean) for 60 minutes.
According to previously announced information, in 2024, 66,927 candidates registered for exemption from the Foreign Language exam, accounting for 6.25% of the total number of candidates taking the exam.
It is expected that the exam marking will be completed no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 14, 2024, and the exam results will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 17, 2024.
After that, localities will conduct graduation examinations for students taking the exam and use the graduation exam results to consider university and college admissions according to the enrollment plan, completing the recognition of high school graduation no later than July 19, 2024.
