"According to hospital reports, the health of 16 patients is stable, with no serious changes. If nothing changes, they will be discharged home on the morning of May 29," said Mr. Truyen.

Previously, at noon on May 28, the kitchen of MLB TENERGY Company Limited (located in the industrial park of Yen Thanh town, Yen Thanh district) served 1,416 meals.

The menu includes 5 dishes: Fried silver pomfret, stir-fried squash with bean sprouts, boiled eggs, vegetable soup, mango for dessert... Workshop 1 has lunch at 11:15, workshop 2 has lunch at 11:55.

30 minutes after lunch, many workers started to experience food poisoning: headache, numb hands, vomiting, stomachache, red rash...

18 workers were transferred to Bao Son General Hospital for treatment and 55 workers were treated at Yen Thanh District General Hospital.

After being given first aid, many workers recovered and were sent home to monitor their health.

MLB TENERGY Co., Ltd. is a Japanese garment company with 1,573 workers, divided into 2 factories.

The unit supplying cooking ingredients for this company's kitchen is Mac Anh Ha Private Enterprise (in Hoa Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district).

Currently, the cause of the incident is being urgently clarified.
