According to Dr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Permanent Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, HP bacteria is the main cause of stomach diseases and is also a very common bacteria in Vietnam with a high infection rate, especially in areas with poor hygiene conditions. Many studies show that the rate of HP infection in adults in Vietnam is about 70%-90%.
