On July 15, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company held a conference to review production and business activities in the first 6 months of the year, and set goals and tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.
In the first 6 months of 2024, to ensure power supply for socio-economic development, national defense - security and people's lives, especially serving key industrial loads, the Board of Directors, staff and employees of Thanh Hoa Electricity Company have focused on synchronously implementing production and business solutions.
The company has focused on promoting investment and upgrading the power system, coordinating with local authorities, the Northern Power Grid Project Management Board, contractors, and construction units to accelerate the completion of key 110kV projects and support the construction of the 500kV line 3 project to ensure the goal of safe, stable and continuous power supply in the summer as well as for the plan for the whole year 2024. In the past 6 months, the company has completed energizing 72/82 projects, preparing to invest in 3 projects.
Cumulative loss for 6 months according to the actual commercial cycle was 3.89%, 1.29% lower than the same period and 0.08% lower than the annual plan, according to voltage level was 3.97%, down 0.26% compared to the same period. No 110kV substation incidents occurred, transient line incidents decreased by 1 incident compared to the same period in 2023 and decreased by 4 incidents compared to the 2024 plan target. No line extension incidents, decreased by 1 incident compared to the same period in 2023 and decreased by 2 incidents compared to the 2024 plan...
Responding to the 2024 Labor Safety and Hygiene Month, after the conference on protecting the safety of the province's high-voltage power grid corridors, the Company organized a campaign to liberate the power grid safety corridors across the province, implementing an electrical safety program for schools...
Regarding periodic testing combined with CBM, by the end of June 2024, the Company has performed level 1 for 110kV substations at 24/24 stations (accounting for 100%); periodic testing combined with CBM at level 2 for 6/8 110kV substations as planned; performed level 3 CBM for 3/6 110kV lines registered in 2024 (accounting for 50%). The medium voltage grid has performed 1,169 load transformers, 16 intermediate transformer stations, 27 Reclosers... Hotline repair work, accumulated in 6 months, performed 349/540 sessions, reaching 64.63% of the yearly plan, Hotline insulator cleaning was performed in 533 sessions; SAIDI and SAIFI indexes met the assigned plan.
Commercial electricity output in the first 6 months reached 3,775.63 million kWh, an increase of 12.28% over the same period in 2023, equivalent to 51.13% of the assigned plan; average electricity price was 1,891.67 VND/kWh, an increase of 6.77 VND; revenue was 7,142.25 billion VND, collection rate reached 100.02%, 0.22% higher than the plan assigned by the Corporation. Periodically replaced 59,171 single-phase meters; 13,168 three-phase meters; 1,300 TIs and 96 TUs, achieving the plan assigned by the Corporation. The entire Company no longer has meters overdue for periodic inspection on the grid.
In the production and business of electricity services, the revenue in the first 6 months of the year was 45,402 billion VND, the profit in the first 6 months of the year was 5,453.5 billion VND, equal to 12% of revenue, reaching 50.2% of the plan assigned by the Corporation in 2024.
Implementing the policy of promoting non-cash payments of the Government and the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, the Company continues to sign cooperation contracts with 7 banks and 9 intermediary organizations to provide electricity bill collection services. Up to now, the rate of customers paying non-cash is 96.04%, revenue through non-cash payment channels reaches 99.07%.
In addition, the Company has performed well in the fields of finance, organization, communication, corporate culture... The Union coordinates with professionals to ensure employment, care for rights and interests, improve the lives and income of officers, employees, and workers...
The company focuses on promoting safe and economical electricity use, load adjustment programs, and the use of utility services from the customer care hotline 19006769. At the same time, it regularly reports to the Provincial People's Committee and announces on mass media to guide customers to register and experience electricity services on the National Public Service Portal. The company also organized a ceremony to honor customers with outstanding achievements in electricity demand management (DSM) in 2024.
Especially for the 500kV line project, circuit 3, Thanh Hoa PC mobilized the Company's shock force to participate in supporting the project construction as well as preparing a reserve ready to coordinate support when required. Support contact, arrange gathering places for accommodation, construction sites as well as organize visits and encourage shock forces from 13 companies under the Southern and Central Power Corporations that were reinforced for the project located in Thanh Hoa province.

The recommendations and proposals were analyzed, evaluated and satisfactorily answered by the Company's Board of Directors.
