A doctor has warned about the types of cancer and the early warning signs that people should get checked out. People often ignore these signs, thinking they are "not serious enough" to go to the hospital. But this inadvertently creates the opportunity for cancer to develop to a late stage, according to the Mirror .
Dr Ahmed El-Modir, a cancer consultant at Spire Little Aston Hospital (UK), shared the following 6 types of cancer with symptoms that are easily overlooked:

Colon cancer
Most overlooked symptoms: Abdominal pain, bloating.
Additionally, other symptoms include changes in bowel habits (such as constipation, diarrhea, or looser stools) and need to defecate even though you just had one. There may also be blood in the stool and weight loss.
Cervical cancer
Cervical cancer grows very slowly and can be detected by cervical screening tests.
The most overlooked symptom: Lower back pain.
Other symptoms include bleeding between periods and bleeding during or after sex, bleeding after menopause, changes in vaginal discharge, lower abdominal pain, pelvic pain, and pain during sex.
Liver cancer
The severity of this type of cancer depends on the location and size of the tumor.
Symptoms most easily overlooked: Right shoulder pain, loss of appetite, fatigue, feeling unwell.
Other symptoms include nausea, vomiting, pale stools, dark urine, and feeling full after eating only a small amount of food. A mass in the upper right abdomen, pain in this area, and bloating may also be noticed. Other symptoms include jaundice, yellowing of the skin and eyes, weight loss, and fever.

Lung cancer
This is a very serious and common form of cancer.
The most easily overlooked symptoms: Shoulder pain, loss of appetite and fatigue, according to Mirror.
Other symptoms include persistent cough, shortness of breath during normal daily activities, coughing up blood, chest pain, recurrent or persistent pneumonia, and weight loss.
Ovarian cancer
Most overlooked symptoms: Constipation, bloating, back pain, loss of appetite, fatigue.
Additionally, other symptoms include persistent pain or tenderness in the pelvic area, diarrhea, feeling full after eating only a small amount, weight loss, sudden urge to urinate, and frequent urination
Pancreatic cancer
Most overlooked symptoms: Abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, back pain, loss of appetite, fatigue.
Other symptoms include changes in stool, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, upper abdominal pain - less pain when bending forward and worse when lying down or eating. Other symptoms include jaundice, yellowing of the skin and eyes, weight loss and fever, according to Mirror.
