After many days of training and joint training at units and the National Military Training Center 4 (My Duc, Hanoi), on the evening of April 3, thousands of soldiers from the parade and marching groups of the Vietnam People's Army left Hanoi station on two trains to move to the South to join other units, continuing to train in preparation for the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
According to the plan, the military and militia forces will be divided into five groups and march to the South on five trains. Four groups will travel from Hanoi station by train on April 3-4.

Specifically, groups 1, 2, 3, 4 depart from Hanoi station; group 5 departs from Tam Ky station, Quang Nam to Bien Hoa station, Dong Nai. Groups 1, 2, 3, 4 will stop at the following stations: Dong Hoi, Da Nang, Dieu Tri, Nha Trang. Group 5 will stop at the following stations: Dieu Tri, Nha Trang.
The total number of military officers, soldiers and militia in the 5 marching groups is nearly 3,200 comrades. During the march, the forces participating in the parade will stop at several points to interact with local people, demonstrating the solidarity between the army and the people, and at the same time spreading the spirit of patriotism to all parts of the country.
It is expected that the parade and march will take place solemnly within the framework of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, held at 8:00 a.m. on April 30 on Le Duan Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) with more than 13,000 participants.
The parade of 35 armed forces will be jointly organized by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, while the parade will be organized by Ho Chi Minh City.
Regarding the task of organizing the mobilization of forces into Ho Chi Minh City, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense, requested that this task must be organized and commanded to ensure strict security.
The Minister of National Defense also requested that the military forces participating in the parades and marches continue to actively practice and master the command movements according to the tasks of each block and each force; closely combine training and joint training, overcome all difficulties, take advantage of all time to practice, and strictly abide by discipline./.
