490 people in Hai Duong are eligible for consideration and posthumous award of the Glorious Youth Volunteer Medal.

The Central Emulation and Reward Committee delegation worked with the Department of Home Affairs on surveying and guiding the organization of awarding the Glorious Youth Volunteer Medal.

According to the Provincial Emulation and Reward Board, since the beginning of the year, through review and reception, the whole province has had 1,706 applications for consideration of awarding and posthumously awarding the Glorious Youth Volunteer Medal (1,331 applications for awarding, 375 applications for posthumous awarding).

After initial assessment, 490 applications were qualified; 302 applications were ineligible; 917 applications needed Central approval.

Recently, the Central Emulation and Rewards Committee's working group worked with the Department of Home Affairs to survey and guide the organization of awarding the Glorious Youth Volunteer Medal and summarizing achievements in the resistance war.

At the meeting, the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs agreed that the files with party member, cadre and civil servant records clearly showing the number of years of work will be considered and submitted to the levels for consideration of awards and posthumous promotions first; files with unclear grounds will be reported to specific levels and considered later.

Currently, the consideration of awarding and posthumous conferment of titles to youth volunteers according to Decree No. 28/2024/ND-CP on consideration of awarding and posthumous conferment of the Glorious Youth Volunteer Badge is facing many difficulties. The main reason is that this force is currently old, there are not many records left, and many cases do not have confirmation papers as a basis...
