"Trade promotion fair for collective and cooperative economic sectors in 2024 (Northern region)" organized by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance is an opportunity for cooperatives, cooperative unions, and cooperative groups (THT) of provinces and cities to display, promote, introduce, and consume products of each region.
The fair takes place from April 18 to April 22, 2024 at Tran Nhan Tong walking street and Thong Nhat park, Nguyen Du ward, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi city, with the participation of 120 cooperatives from 44 provinces and cities nationwide and 30 participating enterprises.
Mr. Vu Ba Phu, Director of the Department of Trade Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Vice President of Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and delegates visited the product introduction booth.
This is an opportunity for cooperatives and enterprises nationwide to participate in displaying, introducing and selling products, goods and services that are branded and produced using high technology, organic, ensuring safety standards; Promote products, goods and services of cooperatives and enterprises participating in the value chain.
The fair is also an opportunity for the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance to connect supply and demand of goods and products, negotiate and sign trade promotion agreements between cooperatives and domestic and foreign enterprises and organizations. At the same time, it organizes trade promotion consulting activities, consulting on access to credit capital, technology and investment for cooperatives.
This is an opportunity for cooperatives and businesses across the country to participate in displaying, introducing and selling products, goods and services.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Vice President of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, said: The fair is an opportunity for cooperatives, cooperative unions, and cooperative groups of provinces and cities to display, promote, introduce, and consume products from each region, partners, organizations, and businesses to meet, exchange experiences, seek opportunities for investment cooperation, joint ventures, associations, and apply science and technology to the production and business process according to the value chain to improve product quality to meet domestic and export requirements, contributing to gradually overcoming and removing "bottlenecks" in product consumption activities, moving towards building the image, reputation, and brand of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance for sustainable development.
The fair is part of the national program on trade promotion in 2024 approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and is also an event responding to the month of action for cooperatives in 2024.
