40 teams participate in the National 7-a-side Football Cup

On the afternoon of November 1, the Hyundai Cup 2023 National 7-a-side Football Cup was launched in Hanoi. This year's tournament continues to receive great attention in the 7-a-side football community. Unlike tournaments taking place in the league format, the National 7-a-side Football Cup only competes in the group stage and then immediately enters the knockout round.

The national 7-a-side football championship is held, with 3 regions: North, South, Central and the national final round.

At the end of 2021, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic still being complicated but gradually being well controlled, with the commitment to long-term development and the consistent viewpoint of joining hands and responsibility for the community from the sponsor, a special tournament was still held called the 2021 National 7-a-side Football Cup.

In December 2021, when sports and entertainment activities were suspended due to the pandemic, VSC-S1 was a rare tournament that could take place, organized in a "closed bubble" format in Nha Trang city and caused a big stir, attracting the attention of football lovers across the country.

In 2022, VSC-S2 will return with a strong expansion nationwide. The tournament will be expanded with a qualifying round of 4 regions including the North, South, Central and Central Highlands. The 8 best teams from each region participating in the national finals continue to make a big splash.

Continuing the success with the values achieved and the recognition of the whole community after 4 years of accompanying the tournament system, with the desire to continue to join hands to build a meaningful playground for players and audiences nationwide and demonstrate the spirit and social responsibility. This year, the 2023 National 7-a-side Football Cup (VSC-S3) will be held for the 3rd time, gathering strong teams, well-organized from many regions nationwide.

In the North, there are 16 teams participating, with representatives from Hanoi, Hai Duong, Ha Tinh, Thai Nguyen. The Southern region has 8 teams with leading representatives from Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong. Meanwhile, the Central Highlands region gathers 8 teams from Dak Lak, Lam Dong, and the Central region taking place in Da Nang has 8 teams from Quang Nam, Da Nang, Quang Ngai. After the 4 regional qualifying rounds, the 8 best teams with the best results will win tickets to the national final round taking place in December in Ho Chi Minh City.
