In recent days, Asian countries have been excited by the news that Saudi Arabia has sent a letter of bid to host the 2034 World Cup to the International Football Federation (FIFA).

Indonesia is one of the countries in the race to host the 2034 World Cup.

As soon as this information was available, Southeast Asian countries quickly came to an agreement on competing for the right to host the biggest football festival on the planet in 2034.

Most recently, the Sydney Morning Herald revealed that Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore have partnered with Australia to participate in this race.

However, the kangaroo newspaper also said that the home team should not cooperate with Indonesia because this country often has football violence.

“In June this year, Indonesia was stripped of the right to host the U20 World Cup,” the Sydney Morning Herald recalled.

Regarding this issue, the President of the Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) Erick Thohir himself affirmed: "All information related to us being excluded from the coalition to compete for the right to host the 2034 World Cup by Australia is false."

The PSSI President also said that on October 31, the four federations will hold a meeting and discuss in detail about winning the right to host the 2034 World Cup.

The intention of Southeast Asian countries to host the 2034 World Cup has existed for a long time. At that time, the countries in the plan also included Vietnam and Thailand. However, the two countries mentioned above showed no interest and were dismissed.

The biggest obstacle for the four-nation alliance (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia) in this race is Saudi Arabia.

However, Malaysia's Vocket FC website believes that the above alliance still has some advantages and is capable of winning the right to host the biggest football festival on the planet taking place 11 years later.
