260 students entered the national excellent student selection team

NDO - The Hanoi City student team participating in the National Excellent Student Competition for the 2024-2025 school year includes 260 students in 13 subjects. This is the first time the city has established a city-wide excellent student team in Japanese.

On the afternoon of October 23, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the teams participating in the National High School Excellent Student Competition for the 2024-2025 school year.

The team consists of 260 students in 13 subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Literature, History, Geography, English, French, Chinese, Russian, Japanese.

These are the most outstanding students selected from more than 2,200 students who participated in the city's excellent student selection exam held in mid-October.

Compared to the previous school year, the number of city students participating in the national excellent student exam increased by 20 students. This is the first time the city has established a team of city excellent students in Japanese to participate in the national excellent student exam.

Students in the Hanoi student team competing in the national excellent student competition this year come from 16 schools, including specialized high schools, non-specialized public high schools and private schools.

Among the specialized high schools and high schools with specialized classes, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted has the most students in the team with 138 students; Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted has 50 students, Chu Van An High School has 44 students; Son Tay High School has 7 students.

For non-specialized public high schools, the school with the most students on the team is Nguyen Gia Thieu High School with 3 students; Kim Lien High School with 2 students. The schools: Ngo Quyen High School - Ba Vi, Tran Hung Dao High School - Ha Dong, Phan Huy Chu High School - Dong Da, Viet Duc High School, each school has 1 student as a member of the team.

For private schools, Newton Secondary and High School has 5 students, Japan International Primary, Secondary and High School has 3 students; Doan Thi Diem High School, Luong The Vinh Secondary and High School; Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary and High School - Cau Giay; Hoang Long High School, each school has 1 student.

Students will have time to focus on training, accumulating more specialized knowledge, practicing test-taking skills, and practical skills with the guidance of highly qualified teachers from schools before officially participating in the National Excellent Student Competition taking place on December 25 and 26.
