In the training class, students are equipped with basic knowledge of oil painting techniques including: layering techniques, underpainting techniques, glaze techniques, scumbling techniques, direct painting (wet on wet), color mixing methods, broken color method, impasto method, scraping paint technique (sgaffito), tonking techniques, how to create surface quality with liquid color and finally the background color layer.
In addition, students participate in practical composition at some heritage sites in the province.
The training course creates conditions for professional and non-professional painters, especially oil painters, to exchange, learn and approach new methods in art creation.
From there, it helps artists and members of the provincial Fine Arts Association improve their creative capacity and create new works of high quality.
The training course will take place until June 16.
