Previously, on social networks, a complaint appeared from 18 Binh Thuan players, claiming that their bonuses and food money were cut.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province verified and reported to the provincial People's Committee. The department also held a meeting on October 12 to clarify the incident with the players, but one of the 18 players said he did not attend.
He also added that among the 18 players of Binh Thuan Club who signed the complaint, some received a notice inviting them to work for verification, while others did not.
According to the complaint, Mr. Le Ba Hung - Director of the Binh Thuan Province Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center did not pay bonuses for the entire season to the team. Food money during the season was continuously cut, given when he wanted, and cut when he did not want.
In the report sent to the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan explained the contents of the accusation. Players of Binh Thuan Club are entitled to a regular training allowance according to the State's regulations of 240,000 VND/person/day and when competing in tournaments, it is 320,000 VND/person/day. These amounts are paid into the personal accounts of each coach and athlete.
The Binh Thuan Province Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center said that the unit had repeatedly explained to the team members about this payment. The players confirmed that they had received the money, but were not satisfied with the specific allocation of the amounts at the levels of 320,000 VND or 240,000 VND.
The group of 18 players said that the rate of 320,000 VND/person/day should be applied throughout the 2023 season.
The report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism sent to the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province said that the provincial Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center will pay bonuses to players and coaches of the team at the season summary meeting taking place on October 18.
However, the above player shared that he did not receive any invitation. It was not until October 16 that the players received an invitation from the Center to attend the summary meeting on October 20.
