Workers from nearby manufacturing facilities pulled water pipes to put out the fire and reported it to the authorities.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Tan Phu District Police mobilized vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading. After more than 1 hour, the fire was extinguished, successfully protecting houses and production facilities.
Fire breaks out at vacant lot on M1
At 3:00 p.m. on March 16, authorities were still extinguishing a fire at an empty lot on M1 Road.
At the same time, about 1 km away, a fire also broke out in a vacant lot of thousands of square meters on M1 Street (Binh Hung Hoa Ward, Binh Tan District). Near the fire area was a parking lot with many cars, buses, trucks, containers... parked there. After 3:00 p.m. the same day, the authorities were still putting out the fire at the vacant lot on M1 Street.
