Inside the land, weeds grew tall and dry, combined with hot weather, so the fire quickly spread, threatening houses and production facilities, causing panic among the people.

Workers from nearby manufacturing facilities pulled water pipes to put out the fire and reported it to the authorities.

At the same time, about 1 km away, a fire also broke out in a vacant lot of thousands of square meters on M1 Street (Binh Hung Hoa Ward, Binh Tan District). Near the fire area was a parking lot with many cars, buses, trucks, containers... parked there. After 3:00 p.m. the same day, the authorities were still putting out the fire at the vacant lot on M1 Street.
