On the afternoon of September 29, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management ( Ministry of Health ) sent an official dispatch to the Ha Giang Department of Health, Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Hospital regarding the organization of emergency and timely treatment of victims of the landslide on National Highway 2 through Viet Vinh commune (in Bac Quang district, Ha Giang province).
Accordingly, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management requested the Ha Giang Department of Health to urgently continue to actively direct affiliated hospitals and coordinate with upper-level hospitals and related units to mobilize good doctors, ensure adequate medicine, infusion, emergency equipment, handle and treat victims, ensure timely treatment to minimize the number of deaths; focus on treatment, care for health, and stabilize the psychology of victims to overcome the crisis.
It should be noted that in cases beyond professional capacity, close coordination must be maintained with upper-level hospitals and hospitals under the Ministry of Health in referral, professional consultation, and remote medical examination and treatment via telehealth to monitor treatment for victims.
