10 dykes in Thanh Ha need to be repaired

According to the People's Committee of Thanh Ha district, after storm No. 3, there are 10 key dike routes in the area, with a total length of nearly 19 km, at risk of being unsafe and needing to be repaired, including 5 central dike routes (over 1.6 km) with an estimated cost of 161 billion VND; 5 local dike routes (over 17.3 km) with an estimated cost of 81 billion VND.

Central dike routes concentrated in Thanh Xuan, Thanh Lang, Thanh Son, Thanh Hai communes need to build culverts across the dike, and embankments to protect the banks. For local dike routes concentrated in Vinh Lap, Thanh Quang, Thanh Cuong and Thanh Hong communes, it is necessary to repair and fill the dike cross-section, reinforce the dike surface with concrete to ensure traffic against floods and storms.

The dykes, when repaired, will ensure the safety of dykes in the district, promptly fix problems during the rainy and stormy season, and create favorable conditions for traffic.
