According to the General Department of Customs, state budget revenue from import-export activities in the first 10 months of 2024 reached VND 346,283 billion, an increase of 14.5% over the same period last year.

Of which, the export value reached 35.59 billion USD, up 4.4% (equivalent to an increase of 1.51 billion USD) and the import value reached 33.60 billion USD, up 5.8% (equivalent to an increase of 1.84 billion USD). Vietnam's trade balance of goods in October 2024 had a surplus of 1.99 billion USD.
Accumulated 10 months of 2024, total value import export Goods reached 647.87 billion USD, up 15.8% (equivalent to an increase of 88.57 billion USD) over the same period last year.
Of which, export value reached 335.59 billion USD, up 14.9% (equivalent to an increase of 43.54 billion USD) and import value reached 312.28 billion USD, up 16.8% (equivalent to an increase of 45.03 billion USD).
Vietnam's trade balance of goods in the first 10 months of 2024 had a surplus of 23.31 billion USD, 6% lower than the surplus of 24.8 billion USD in the same period last year.
Notably, the state budget revenue from import-export activities in October 2024 reached VND 38,298 billion, up 16.8% over the previous month. The cumulative revenue in the first 10 months of 2024 reached VND 346,283 billion, equal to 92.3% of the estimate, up 14.5% over the same period last year.
