ASIAD 2023: 베트남 대표단, 금메달 목표 달성

10월 4일 오전, 베트남 여자 세팍타크로팀이 마지막 경기에서 인도네시아를 2-1로 물리치고 우승을 차지했습니다. 이는 베트남 세팍타크로 역사상 3번째 ASIAD 금메달입니다. 금메달 획득의 성과로, 6명의 선수(주요 4명, 예비 2명)로 구성된 세팍타크로 여자 팀은 베트남 정부로부터 8억 4천만 VND(금메달 1개당 1억 4천만 VND, 선수 6명으로 구성된 팀도 동일한 금액)를 지원받았습니다. 세팍타크로 연맹은 3억 VND의 "보상"을 받았고, 베트남 스포츠 대표단은 5억 VND를 수상했습니다.

Mr. Le Thanh Son - official in charge of the Sepak Takraw sport under the General Department of Sports and Physical Training - affirmed: "We have been building the Sepak Takraw team for many years. After not being successful at the 18th ASIAD, we continued to change. This generation of Vietnamese Sepak Takraw athletes is still very young and we have succeeded thanks to their youth and fighting spirit, which has brought us victory today. In this 4-woman Sepak Takraw event, the techniques are different from the 3-woman Sepak Takraw event. The Vietnamese Sepak Takraw team has young, potential athletes, ensuring positions that can perform techniques and tactics in 4-person competitions. We hope that the Sepak Takraw team will continue to receive more attention and investment, and if it is interested, Vietnam Sepak Takraw will certainly reap more success. Particularly, the Vietnamese men's Sepak Takraw team won a bronze medal at the 18th ASIAD. At this congress, we hope that the men's team can change the color of the medal, but unfortunately, in the men's 4-person kicking event, 팀은 준결승에 진출하지 못했습니다. 아직 치러지지 않은 남자부 3개, 여자부 3개 종목이 있습니다. 선수들이 베트남 세팍타크로의 입지를 확고히 하기 위해 뭔가를 하기를 바랍니다." 10월 4일 오후 1시 현재, 베트남 스포츠 대표단은 금메달 2개, 은메달 3개, 동메달 14개를 획득했습니다. 이로써 베트남 스포츠는 올해 대회에서 최소 2개의 금메달을 획득하는 목표를 달성했습니다.
