Center for Information Technology and Digital Technology, Department of E-commerce and Economy The Ministry of Industry and Trade received the award with the solution "Vietnam Electronic Contract Development Axis". Representative of the Center for Information Technology and Digital Technology, Mr. Le Duc Anh, Director of the Center received the award.

Vietnam Digital Awards is an annual award held to honor state agencies and businesses that have excellently implemented digital transformation; typical digital transformation products, services and solutions to promote the development of digital economy. Goverment digital, digital economic development and digital society.

Vietnam Electronic Contract Development Axis (www.ceca.gov.vn) is a platform system that connects and supports electronic contract certification organizations with other platforms and organizations such as: digital signature certification organizations, timestamp certification organizations. Ministry of Information and Communications licensing, electronic identification and authentication organizations are Police management; commercial arbitration organizations;… with the aim of creating a common, single system to promote the development of electronic transactions and commerce. This brings many benefits such as:

– Promote digital transformation not only in commerce but also expand to all subjects related to commercial activities. Help participants comply with legal regulations, ensure transparency, fairness, consistency, and help the market develop sustainably.

– Help businesses and society save costs, solve the problem of comprehensive digital transformation of businesses (it is estimated that the application of comprehensive electronic contracts will help the country save 50.000 - 70.000 billion/year including printing, delivery, document preservation costs,...) and ensure the legal value and comprehensiveness of the application of electronic contracts in electronic transactions.

– Help state agencies effectively manage the work of preventing fraud, tax evasion, and managing counterfeit and fake goods in circulation.

- Help Ministry of Industry and Trade Manage commercial transaction data of the entire market, thereby being proactive in statistics, reporting, and data analysis to regulate the market.

– Ensure consumer rights and fairness when complaints and disputes arise.

According to the Organizing Committee, this year's Vietnam Digital Transformation Awards focuses on honoring the digital transformation efforts of state agencies, aiming to promote the improvement of public services and better serve the people. Eleven state agencies were honored for their remarkable achievements in the digital transformation journey, although the speed may be slower than that of businesses.

In addition, the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award also honored 6 public service units, 9 enterprises and 19 digital transformation solutions that have contributed to promoting the development of the digital economy. This year is also the first time that the Award honored 4 digital transformation products and solutions that are humane, not focusing on business factors but aiming to serve the community. 

Therefore, winning the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2024 is a proud achievement for the Center for Information Technology and Digital Technology, Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade). This award will become a strong motivation, encouraging the Center to continue to strive to improve the quality and efficiency of its solutions, accompanying Vietnamese enterprises in the digital transformation process.
