Nervous, worried but also very confident, ready to directly present their startup ideas and projects to the Board of Judges is the mood of many candidates participating in the final presentation round of the 2024 Women's Startup Competition.
After going through serious and rigorous rounds, from the provincial and municipal preliminary rounds, the Central Association preliminary rounds, the regional semi-finals and finals in the North, Central and South regions, the 3 best candidates were selected to participate in the National Final round of the "Women's Creative Startup and Green Transformation" competition in 40.
During 2 on 10/10 and October 11, 2024, candidates were present at Ha Noi, participate in the presentation competition before the Board of Judges. The best startup ideas/projects will be selected to be honored and awarded the National Competition of the year 2024 on the upcoming 12/10.
Ms. Che Thi Hang (Vera Sunshine Pharmaceutical Trading Company Limited, Hanoi), author of the Project "Improving production capacity towards green and sustainable transformation and developing the market for female hormone pills Verasunshine for Women" shared: Coming to the contest, I want to experience and spread the product to the community, offering a solution for women to improve hormones. At the same time, promote environmental protection and sustainable green economic development. On my journey, I received support from the Hanoi Women's Union to gain more knowledge, skills, and confidence to enter my presentation round.

Ms. Pham Thi Nhung (Cooperative) Thai Nguyen ToTa, Thai Nguyen province), Project "Application of technological solutions to serve the recovery of agricultural and forestry waste and by-products towards green energy" shared: "Entering the National Final round of the competition, I feel extremely excited. This is a very important competition for Thai Nguyen ToTa Cooperative because the participants and beneficiaries of the project are mainly women. We hope to cooperate with the Women's Unions of the provinces, women's groups of the communes to connect the Cooperative with women to establish groups to collect agricultural and forestry waste and by-products. Through this competition, we want to spread the spirit of entrepreneurship, daring to break through to create value for ourselves and society to women"!
Ms. Ly Thi Nga (Binh Gia district, province) Lang Son), the author of the Project “Raising microbial herbal chickens under the canopy of anise trees” said that this was the first time she participated in a large playground for women entrepreneurs. To reach the final round of the competition, she received encouragement and support from the Women's Union at all levels in the province, thus giving her more motivation and confidence to complete her entry well.
From the provincial Quang Ngai, Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Cam, the author of the project "Boboon Herbal Soapberry Shampoo" expressed her determination to apply the knowledge and skills acquired through training sessions for candidates participating in the startup competition of the Vietnam Women's Union to her presentation, to convince the Board of Judges, so that the product will be recognized and find a solid foothold in the market.

According to the regulations of the Competition "Women's Creative Startups and Green Transformation" in 2024 (according to Decision No. 3646/QD-DCT dated March 29, 2024 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union), each project will have a maximum total time of 12 minutes for presentation, including a maximum of 05 minutes for presenting the startup idea/project and a maximum of 07 minutes for comments and questions from the Jury.
The jury will score on a 100-point scale, with 6 major criteria groups: Innovation (20 points); Market analysis of products/services (30 points); Capacity to implement the Startup Project (10 points); Potential to create impact (15 points); Sustainability and feasibility of the business model to be formed/developed in the Startup Project (15 points); Presentation skills (10 points).
Creative and green products are sent to judges and guests.
Attending the Final Presentation Competition were also investors and representatives of Startup Funds who came to listen and give comments to the Projects with the hope of supporting more women startups in the future, helping startup projects grow strong, competitive and stand firm in the market.
