Date October 3, 2024, Loc Phat Bank Vietnam (LPBank) and the Center for Research and Application of Population Data and Citizen Identification (RAR Center) – Police Signing Ceremony of Service Provision Contract & Deployment of LPBank account opening feature on VNeID application. With this cooperation, LPBank is one of the first banks permitted by the Ministry of Public Security to use information from the VNeID electronic identification and authentication system so that customers and citizens can log in and open online payment accounts quickly, safely and securely.
Major Tran Duy Hien, Director of RAR Center (Ministry of Public Security) and Mr. Vu Quoc Khanh, Permanent Deputy General Director of LPBank, signed a cooperation agreement to provide services and deploy the feature of opening LPBank accounts on VNeID application under the witness of the Board of Directors of the two units.
Accordingly, to deploy the online payment account opening service on VNeID, LPBank has closely coordinated with the RAR Center, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06) to integrate the system, and at the same time invest in technology infrastructure and service equipment.
Speaking at the event, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, Director of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06 - Ministry of Public Security) emphasized that using the payment account opening service on VNeID will bring customers optimal and safer experiences in financial and banking services.
Also at the event, LPBank representative said that the implementation of payment account opening service on VNeID is part of the action program of Project 06 and promoting the implementation of the Project on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.. The cooperation contents between the two sides were quickly implemented, providing modern solutions, bringing convenient experiences to people and LPBank customers in logging in and using the VNeID application to perform banking transactions.

Easily log in to LPBank application with VNeID account
