The CINOVA H2 train marks a step forward for the country's transportation industry in the process of converting to green energy, reducing carbon emissions and contributing to environmental protection.
The "father" of the CINOVA H2 train is Qingdao CRRC Sifang Rolling Stock Company under China Railway Corporation (CRRC).

Xinhua News Agency quoted CRRC technical expert Liang Caiguo as saying that the ship is equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell, which uses the electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen to generate electrical energy. Compared with similar products on the international market, the CINOVA H2 runs faster and travels a longer distance.
The train consists of 4 cars and is equipped with a 960 KW high-power hydrogen fuel cell, with a maximum operating speed of 200 km/h, and can carry up to 1.000 passengers.
On a single charge, the train can run 1.200 km if operating at a speed of 160 km/h, 2.000 km at a speed of 120 km/h and 3.000 km at a speed of 80 km/h while it only takes 15 minutes to fully charge with hydrogen once.
Furthermore, the train can be used in non-electrified railway areas thus easily replacing high-emission internal combustion engine vehicles.

Remarkably, the entire reaction process of the onboard hydrogen fuel cell produces only water and emits no carbon and produces no air pollutants.
This train only consumes a small amount of hydrogen, about 0,3 grams/passenger/km. Therefore, if it runs about 300.000km per year, it is estimated to help reduce about 730 tons of CO2/year, Mr. Luong shared.
In addition, the wastewater from the hydrogen fuel cell reaction is purified and recycled, which can meet the water needs of the entire train, and the cooling waste heat of the hydrogen fuel cell is recycled and can be used for air conditioning and heating in winter.
Not only is it green, this train also has a very smart interior design. The glass windows on the train are integrated with smart, touch-sensitive screens. Users can choose to view information about the train's itinerary, shopping and dining locations near the train station. If they want to look outside, users can choose transparent mode.
There is a table in the train compartment, the table top will allow users to quickly charge their phones without wires. In addition, the seats on the train can rotate and adjust during rush hour.
