On the afternoon of November 6, the People's Committee of Cam Pha City (Quang Ninh) issued a document on the inspection of the urban area project in area 10B, Quang Hanh ward (Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh) invested by Do Gia Capital Company Limited.
In this document, the Chairman of Cam Pha City People's Committee requested Do Gia Capital Company Limited to temporarily suspend the project construction and closely coordinate with departments, offices and units under Cam Pha City People's Committee to implement related contents in State management and legal regulations.
The Chairman of Cam Pha City People's Committee also assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (TN&MT) to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Urban Management, Culture and Information, Quang Hanh Ward People's Committee and related units to urgently inspect the construction site of the urban area project in area 10B, clarifying the content of some articles reflecting on the construction process of the project.

Previously, the Ha Long Bay Management Board (Quang Ninh) sent a document to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Culture and Sports and the People's Committee of Cam Pha City, regarding the investor of an urban area project dumping soil into the sea in the buffer zone of the world natural heritage Ha Long Bay.
The project owner is Do Gia Capital Company Limited. The project dumped soil directly, without a dike, into the sea area of the Ha Long Bay heritage buffer zone.
This will pollute the water environment, affecting the ecosystems of the natural heritage site and Ha Long Bay.
