Request to temporarily suspend the circulation of food additives with coffee and butter flavors

On March 28, the Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health) announced that it had just issued Notice No. 556/TB-ATTP requesting the temporary suspension of circulation of goods from March 25, 2025 for 2 food additives: butter flavor 1127 and coffee flavor 1312.

According to the request of the Food Safety Department, Minh Kien Company Limited must contact the manufacturer to take measures to handle and correct the problem within 10 days...

Food additive: Avocado flavor 1127 (Manufacturer: February 5, 2025, Expiry date: February 4, 2026, Packaging and filling date: February 5, 2025), quantity 16 kg (4 cans x 4kg/can) of the distributor and responsible for product quality (inspected facility) is Minh Kien Company Limited. Address: 725/3 Truong Chinh, Tay Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Food additive Avocado flavor 1127 is packaged and bottled at Minh Kien Import Export Company Limited Branch. Address: 354/16/12 QL 1A, Quarter 3, Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Food additive: Coffee Flavor 1312 (Made in: 10/01/2025, Expiry date: 01/09/2026, packaging and filling date: 01/10/2025), quantity 20kg (4 cans x 5kg/can) of the distributor and responsible for the product (inspected facility) is Minh Kien Company Limited. Address: 725/3 Truong Chinh, Tay Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Products are packaged and filled at Minh Kien Import Export Company Limited Branch. Address: 354/16/12 QL 1A, Ward 3, Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City. The reason for temporary suspension of circulation is due to violation of regulations on product labeling.

The Food Safety Department requires Minh Kien Company Limited to contact the manufacturer to take corrective measures within 10 days. The above goods are only allowed to continue circulating if the corrective actions have been taken and the inspection agency has issued a notice that the goods can continue to circulate on the market.
