Specifically, Pacific Airlines (PA) is required to ensure the rights of passengers who have purchased tickets on PA flights according to the provisions of law; refund tickets to passengers without collecting any money in case the flight is canceled and passengers do not need to use PA's services during the period of suspension of the fleet.

In addition, the Authority requested the airline to urgently restructure its fleet and put the aircraft back into operation as soon as possible; at the same time, report to the Authority on the plan for restructuring the fleet and the operation plan before tomorrow (March 22).

At the same time, the airline returns unused slots during the period when PA stops operating to restructure the fleet and due to the impact of reducing the number of aircraft.

Previously, a representative of PA Airlines said that paying off all the planes had helped the airline settle a large debt to the ship owners, about 220 million USD. All negotiations with the ship owners were planned in advance by the airline's Board of Directors, so PA proactively coordinated with Vietnam Airlines (VNA) to transfer all passengers who had purchased tickets on PA flights to VNA flights. The transfer of passengers was completed in March.

Currently, all passengers have been transferred to the corresponding flights operated by VNA, and passengers have been fully informed about the flight changes through the sales system of VNA and PA. Passengers' rights and requests will be guaranteed by VNA through the customer care system of VNA.

During the suspension of flights, PA will continue to maintain a permanent force at passenger contact points (airports, ticket offices, customer care centers, etc.) to receive and immediately handle any arising requests from passengers.

In addition, PA and VNA have proactively worked to develop a plan to add aircraft to PA. The two sides are completing procedures for PA to dry lease 3 aircraft from VNA, helping to restore operations.

"PA and VNA will utilize the available resources of VNA Group to gradually improve the quality of PA's services with the goal of building PA into an airline that operates effectively, adapts quickly to the new environment and develops stably in the future. Returning the fleet will not only help the airline pay off its large debt to the shipowner, but also improve the quality of passenger service in the future after switching from A320 to A321 aircraft" - PA representative affirmed.
