On March 4, in a meeting to evaluate key projects, the Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee requested that project files with signs of violations be transferred to the Internal Affairs Committee for handling.

Of which, 7 projects use state budget capital, including: Nam Rom River Basin Multi-Disaster Management Project; Road Project Connecting Key Economic Zones; Rural Electricity Supply Project from the National Grid (Brighten Dien Bien Program); Project for Construction of Resettlement Areas and Points in Dien Bien Provincial Administrative Center; Projects for Items of the Overall Investment Project for Construction of Dien Bien Provincial Sports Center; Project for Conservation and Restoration of the Him Lam Resistance Center Relics (Phase 2); President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House Project at E2 Hill.

5 projects in the group of urban infrastructure development projects using non-state budget capital, including: Muong Thanh market and trade service project; Muong Thanh A urban residential area project; urban residential area, trade service project in groups 17 and 18 of Him Lam ward; Him Lam new urban area project (east of 7/5 street); Thanh Minh street - Doc Lap hill project and residential area (Northern belt road) of Dien Bien Phu city.

According to the assessment of the Party Committee of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, basically the projects in this area are behind schedule compared to the set plan; some projects are too behind schedule due to problems with compensation and site clearance. The projects are all located in Dien Bien Phu City and Dien Bien District.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, requested the two localities with projects to work with the project investors to make detailed plans to make progress milestones for each stage and each part of the projects.
