To achieve the above goal, Yen Binh district has implemented specific solutions, including promoting the transition from small-scale livestock farming to development in the direction of farms, semi-industrial and industrial, associated with processing and consumption of products. At the same time, the district has proactively restored herds, controlled epidemics to limit losses in production and guided livestock farming in the direction of biosafety.
Up to now, the total main livestock herd of the district has reached more than 136,700 heads, equal to 151.6% compared to the same period in 2024. The total output of fresh meat for slaughter reached 7,800 tons, equivalent to 44.5% of the annual plan.
Currently, Yen Binh district continues to mobilize people to prevent and control epidemics, vaccinate regularly, and at the same time support the development of disease-free livestock farming areas, livestock farming according to the value chain, determined to complete the set goals in 2025.
