In the first quarter of 2025, Yen Binh district had 25 socio -economic development indicators with evaluation results, of which 8 indicators reached over 50% of the plan, 6 indicators reached over 25%.

Accordingly, the production value of agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 49.4% over the same period in 2024; industrial production value reached 1,878 billion, up 14% over the same period; construction production value reached 970 billion VND, up 16.9%; total main livestock herd reached 136 thousand heads, reaching 88.2% of the plan; aquatic product output reached 2,600 tons, up 16.9% over the same period; newly planted forest area reached 1,607 hectares; state budget revenue in the area reached 101.86 billion VND, equal to 20% of the plan...

Along with that, social security and social welfare policies are fully and promptly implemented, political security and social order and safety are maintained. However, besides the achieved results, in implementing and carrying out the tasks of the first quarter of 2025, the district still has some low targets such as: labor export targets, new business establishment, health insurance coverage rate, etc.

In the coming time, Yen Binh district will proactively prevent drought for crops and livestock, prevent diseases in livestock and poultry; implement policies to support the development of agricultural and forestry production; urge the progress of forest planting to ensure completion in the spring crop; deploy the work of granting FSC forest certificates. At the same time, urge communes and towns to strengthen measures to protect aquatic resources on Thac Ba lake; promote the construction of advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas.
