At home, Yamal scored in the 103rd minute. The Barcelona striker received the ball from Dean Huijsen, then fired a left-footed shot straight into the top corner of the goal, giving goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen no chance to block.

This goal helped Yamal make history as the youngest player to score in the Nations League (17 years and 253 days).

Also in the last match, Yamal missed Spain's penalty kick. However, coach Luis de la Fuente's team still advanced when the Dutch players missed twice (Noa Lang, Donyell Malen). In the end, Spain won 5-4 on penalties.

In the Nations League, Yamal has only scored 1 goal in 2 appearances. If counting both club and national team level, the Barcelona striker has scored 3 goals and contributed 1 assist in the last 4 matches.

On March 19, Yamal surprised everyone by announcing that he would fast during Ramadan. The Euro 2016 winner's decision stemmed from his close relationship with his grandmother Fatima, who was on a pilgrimage to Mecca. "I believe I am healthy enough to fast," Yamal said.

To support Yamal, the Barcelona and Spain nutrition teams will create a special diet during Ramadan. The young Spanish star will fast from sunrise to sunset.

After the match against the Netherlands, Yamal will return to join Barcelona to prepare for the match against Osasuna on March 28 in La Liga.

Yamal's masterpiece helps Barca reverse the score against Atletico. In the early morning of March 17, Barca lost by 2 goals but still defeated host Atletico Madrid 4-2 in round 28 of La Liga.
