Phuong Bac General Hospital is the first private hospital established in the province. After 6 years of construction and development, the hospital has successfully applied many new techniques in medical examination and treatment, the quality of medical services at the hospital is constantly improved, actively contributing to ensuring the task of caring for and protecting the health of people in the area and neighboring areas.

Not only investing in human resources, the hospital also focuses on modernizing facilities, machinery and equipment such as: 256-slice CT-Scanner system, 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging system, tissue elasticity ultrasound system, biochemical, hematological, immunological, microbiological testing system, high-pressure oxygen system, electromyography system... and many other advanced medical equipment systems, helping to diagnose accurately and support treatment. In 6 years of construction and development, the hospital has promptly intervened and successfully treated many difficult and complicated cases such as: Spinal surgery, phaco eye surgery, infertility treatment surgery... have been successfully performed by the hospital.

Phuong Bac General Hospital put into use the high-pressure oxygen chamber system from December 2023.

Professional processes are built and closely monitored. In 2023, the hospital invested in installing a modern high-pressure oxygen treatment system. The high-pressure oxygen treatment system is used to treat diseases such as: Treatment of stroke, sequelae of cerebrovascular accident, vestibular disorders, cerebral circulation disorders, prolonged insomnia, tinnitus, deafness, slow-healing ulcers, burns, children with cerebral palsy, autism... In particular, patients are entitled to health insurance according to regulations when coming to the hospital for examination and treatment like public hospitals.

Developed from an ENT clinic, after nearly 20 years of development, in December 2023, Hoang Viet General Clinic was licensed by the Ministry of Health to upgrade to Hoang Viet General Hospital. Currently, the hospital has 7 specialized departments and 3 functional rooms, with nearly 300 medical staff. In 2024, the hospital examined and treated nearly 50,000 people, many difficult surgeries were successfully performed at the hospital.

Over the past time, Hoang Viet General Hospital has always strived to innovate its service work. The system of facilities and equipment has been invested in modern and advanced; along with that is a team of doctors and nurses with good expertise and good medical ethics. In addition to private hospitals, private clinics are increasingly established to partly solve the people's need for medical examination and treatment. Bach Mai Friendship General Clinic, Tan Yen town (Ham Yen) was established in 2018, with modern facilities and equipment, gathering a team of doctors, medical experts with skills and experience who can advise and provide the fastest and most effective treatment methods. Since its establishment, Bach Mai Friendship General Clinic has affirmed its quality and reputation in medical examination and treatment, especially for pregnant women coming for examination, consultation, and reproductive health monitoring.

The province currently has 208 private medical facilities, including 03 non-public hospitals and the rest are general, specialized and traditional medicine clinics.

Some private hospitals and clinics have invested in modern facilities and equipment, applied high technology, deployed cutting-edge techniques, and specialized techniques such as digital X-ray machines, CT-SCANE machines, MRI machines, anesthesia and ventilation systems, artificial kidney dialysis machines, clean operating rooms with filtered air, vascular intervention systems, etc.

The professional team of non-public medical facilities, especially hospitals with large investment scale, have appropriate professional degrees and certificates, some of them are good doctors and nurses at public hospitals. Many technical services, simple procedures, quick processing time, creating trust with the people, attracting a large number of patients to come for examination and treatment.

The service spirit and attitude of medical staff at non-public medical facilities are friendly, enthusiastic, attentive, satisfying patients. Some non-public hospitals and clinics also invite central-level experts such as: K Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital, Hanoi Medical University Hospital... to examine and treat people; send staff to attend training courses to improve professional qualifications, and cooperate with central-level hospitals.

Private hospitals, general and specialized clinics have been established, creating competition in quality, service, service attitude... between public and private sectors. The beneficiaries of these achievements are patients and people in the province and neighboring areas.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Director of the Department of Health, said: Along with supporting and creating conditions for private hospitals to expand the number of beds, the Department of Health assigned the professional department to guide organizations and individuals to register to open medical examination and treatment services. Focus on reviewing and guiding businesses to invest in opening new high-quality private hospitals and clinics in districts far from the center so that all people can access modern medical services right where they live.

Non-public and public healthcare have been coordinating and working together in public healthcare, contributing to reducing hospital overload and helping people have more choices in receiving healthcare services.
