Last May, student Tran Dinh Duc, class 12A4, Tran Hung Dao High School (Nam Dinh city) was honored to be admitted to the Party and was the first student of the school to have this honor. With comprehensive achievements not only in studying and scientific research, Duc is also very active and creative in the school's Youth Union and youth movement, recognized by the Provincial Youth Union as a "Three Good Student".

Confident, dynamic and fluent, student Tran Dinh Duc easily impresses anyone at first meeting. The title "Three Good Students" with specific results is a worthy recognition for his long process of constant efforts and striving. During his 3 years at Tran Hung Dao High School, Tran Dinh Duc has always been an excellent student and youth, a "locomotive" in the emulation movements for good study and scientific and technical innovation movements launched by the school. In 2022, Duc, along with 4 students in the school, researched, created and implemented the project: "5FF - interior design using recycled materials" and won second prize in the provincial "I love the environment" contest. The project not only helps protect the environment but also spreads meaningful messages about the current state of environmental pollution, thereby taking timely measures to minimize polluting waste and cherish every drop of fresh water. The products are designed according to handmade models, utilizing waste items to create a unique aesthetic style for the user's living space, while creating certain social impacts, contributing to spreading the message "Think green - Live green - Consume green" to educational institutions, units, and businesses in and outside the province.
In the school-level "Science and Technology Innovation" competition, Duc and 3 classmates researched, created and implemented the "Self-defense watch" project, which is both a piece of jewelry and an effective self-defense tool. The product operates on the principle of heating essential oils to create smoke and tear gas to repel bad guys who intend to harm them. The product has been highly appreciated by the school for its practicality when deployed and applied. Or the project "Safe recycled rafts for rescue and relief in flood-hit areas" by Duc and 2 classmates was honored to receive the second prize at the provincial level in the "Clean River - Blue Sea" competition. Not only outstanding in the movement of science and technology innovation, Tran Dinh Duc is also talented in cultural, artistic and sports activities. He participated in and won the first prize in the "Melody of Youth" competition at the city cluster level and the second prize in the "Melody of Youth" competition at the provincial level. Participating in the team competing in the contest "Telling stories of Uncle Ho and moral and lifestyle lessons for students" in 2022, Duc won the first prize at the provincial level. In the school-level assessment exams, Duc always strives to achieve high results, in which he received the Tran Hung Dao award with a ranking in the top 10 of the block. Notably, in the 2022-2023 school year, Duc also made a mark in his academic achievements with the second prize in the provincial Physics 12 excellent student exam and was one of the two typical elegant ambassadors of the school in the 2022-2023 school year.
Not only creative and good at studying, Tran Dinh Duc is also an active and enthusiastic "leader" of the Youth Union. As the class's Youth Union Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Tran Hung Dao High School, Duc and the Executive Committee have organized many meaningful activities such as: Organizing the "Letter to the Teacher" contest to create opportunities for students in the school to share their feelings and gratitude to their teachers. Launching the "Melody of Youth" contest, the "Flower Arrangement Art" contest, the "Thanh Huong Tinh Yeu" fruit juice making contest to celebrate International Women's Day 8-3, organizing the "Start-up" contest, "Science and Technology Innovation" contest, organizing men's football tournaments, the "Road to Olympia" contest, the "Talented Youth Union Cadre" contest to discover and foster the creativity, confidence and dynamism of the youth of Tran Hung Dao High School in the new era. Duc also worked with the School Youth Union Executive Committee to prepare a speech to provide students with knowledge about HIV/AIDS, emphasizing the topic of fighting discrimination against people with HIV/AIDS, contributing to educating the awareness of humane living, conveying the message of living positively and kindly to 100% of union members and youth in the whole school. At the same time, the organization accompanied humanitarian and charity programs organized by the Department of Education and Training and the City Youth Union. When implementing any activity, Duc always took specific survey opinions, respecting the creativity of the members of the Youth Union. On that basis, he began to make specific plans for each movement and activity, connecting all union members in the school together to implement them effectively. Tran Dinh Duc shared: “During the 3 years of studying at the school, the teachers have always created the best conditions for me and my friends, a dynamic learning environment, and at the same time encouraged and empowered us to actively participate in Youth Union activities. I always tell myself that as a "Three Good Students" and especially when I have the honor of being the first student of the school to be in the ranks of the Party, I must be more exemplary, more proactive, and strive to contribute my youth in the process of studying and dedicating myself to the community". As a companion and accompanist of Tran Dinh Duc throughout his efforts and training, teacher Dao Thi Ngoc Phuong, Secretary of the Youth Union of Tran Hung Dao High School, said: "Tran Dinh Duc is a student with excellent academic achievements, always active in the general movement activities of the school and class; a typical example for students to follow, worthy of the traditions of studying and training of generations of young people of the school. I hope that, with his will and dynamism, Duc will continue to be nurtured and developed in the university environment, becoming a useful person for the community and society".
The results that Tran Dinh Duc has achieved in the past time not only make him, his friends, family and teachers proud but also give him more motivation to step more firmly on the path of studying and realizing his dream.
