According to data from the Phu Tho Customs Branch, in September, the total value of goods exported from the province was estimated at nearly 1.7 billion USD, an increase of 48.1% compared to the same period last year; the total value of imports also grew strongly at 1.4 billion USD, equivalent to 87.6% compared to the same period.

Overall, in the first nine months of 2024, the province's total export turnover reached over 11.8 billion USD, an increase of 48.7% compared to the same period; imports reached 11.2 billion USD, an increase of 86.4%, bringing the province's total import and export turnover in the first nine months to over 23 billion USD. This continues to place the province among the top 10 provinces contributing significantly to the country's import and export, and demonstrates the strong and sustainable recovery of production and business activities in the province.
