A subject impersonated an officer of Cam Ranh City Military Command to commit fraud.

The Cam Ranh City Military Command has just sent a document to the Cam Ranh City People's Committee, the Cam Ranh City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the City Department of Culture - Science and Information, the People's Committee and the police of 15 communes and wards informing that a number of individuals impersonating the City Military Command have ordered large quantities of goods from local businesses, forged seals, defrauded, and discredited the city's armed forces.

According to the document, in recent times, in Cam Ranh City, a number of subjects have continued to appear, impersonating officers of the Cam Ranh City Military Command, using mobile phones, social networking sites, and documents with fake seals of the City Military Command to place orders at businesses in the area. In 2024, the Cam Ranh City Military Command issued a document announcing this situation. However, many people have not been informed, so the above incident still occurs. The Cam Ranh City Military Command affirmed that the documents and seals used by the subjects were fake, and the behavior of the above subjects was fraud and property appropriation.

To prevent businesses in the area from continuing to be scammed, the Cam Ranh City Military Command requested the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the City Department of Culture - Science and Information, and the People's Committees of 15 communes and wards to increase information and propaganda in various forms to the people and businesses in the area; requested the police of 15 communes and wards to coordinate in verifying, investigating and handling the case according to regulations.
