Issuing national reserve materials and equipment to serve natural disaster prevention and control

Supplying all kinds of life-saving tents; all kinds of life buoys; fire-fighting water pumps... to serve the work of preventing and fighting natural disasters and searching and rescuing.

According to Decision 724/QD-TTg, the Ministry of Finance provides free of charge materials and equipment from the national reserve in 2025 to ministries and localities to serve the work of natural disaster prevention, control and search and rescue in the attached Appendix. Specifically, equipment from the national reserve in 2025 provided to ministries and localities includes: Life-saving tents of all kinds; life buoys of all kinds; generators of all kinds; fire-fighting water pumps; drilling and cutting equipment, etc.

The Ministry of Finance shall handle specifically according to regulations; according to assigned functions and tasks, it shall be responsible for the basis, information, data, reports and proposals. Ministries and localities shall be responsible for the accuracy of information, data and proposed quantities; receive, allocate and distribute national reserve goods in accordance with regulations, to the right subjects and for the right purposes; manage, use, preserve and implement the reporting regime in accordance with regulations.

The National Committee for Incident and Disaster Response and Search and Rescue shall coordinate with ministries and localities to distribute national reserve goods according to regulations; according to assigned functions and tasks, preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Finance and relevant ministries and localities to inspect the distribution, management, use, preservation and maintenance of national reserve materials and equipment to ensure proper purposes and effectiveness.

Adjusting the quantity of national reserve rice supplied to Dien Bien province

Decision 724/QD-TTg also adjusts the data in Decision No. 693/QD-TTg dated March 31, 2025 of the Prime Minister on the supply of rice from national reserves to localities during the crop gap in early 2025.

Accordingly, the amount of national reserve rice issued to Dien Bien province to support people during the crop gap in early 2025 will be adjusted from 846,456 tons of rice to 846,465 tons of rice as proposed by the Ministry of Finance in Official Dispatch No. 3755/BTC-NSNN dated March 25, 2025.

This Decision comes into force from the date of signing (April 6, 2025).
