Administrative penalty for young man using police uniform to attract likes

According to Article 20 of Decree 144/2021/ND-CP, violations of regulations on the management and use of uniforms, insignia, badges, identification numbers, and other documents reserved for the People's Police force include the following:

1. A fine of between VND 500,000 and VND 1,500,000 shall be imposed for the act of illegally storing or using uniforms, ranks, badges, numbers, People's Public Security identification cards or other documents reserved for the People's Public Security force.

2. A fine of between VND 5,000,000 and VND 10,000,000 shall be imposed for the act of illegally buying, selling or exchanging uniforms, ranks, badges, numbers, People's Public Security identification cards or other documents reserved for the People's Public Security force.

3. A fine of VND 10,000,000 to VND 30,000,000 shall be imposed for the illegal production or counterfeiting of uniforms, insignia, badges, identification cards, or other documents specifically intended for the People's Police force.

4. Additional forms of punishment:

a) Confiscate exhibits and means of administrative violation for acts specified in Clauses 1, 2 and 3 of this Article;

b) Deport foreigners who commit administrative violations specified in Clauses 1, 2 and 3 of this Article.

5. Remedial measures:

"The offender shall be compelled to return any illegal profits obtained from committing acts violating the provisions of Clauses 2 and 3 of this Article."
