According to initial information, at around 12:30 p.m. on March 16, while patrolling and handling violations related to minerals, the working group of Xuyen Moc District Police discovered a suspicious young man and invited him to the headquarters for questioning.
At the investigation agency, DKL (born in 1995, residing in Hoa Hoi commune) confessed to following the working group vehicle of Xuyen Moc district police to know the location and patrol route of the police force, then informed the dump truck drivers carrying minerals (soil, rock, gravel, sand...) to avoid control.
Regarding the above incident, the police force drew up a record of administrative violations against L. for the act of "Collecting, processing and using information of an organization without consent or for purposes other than those prescribed by law" with the amount of 7.5 million VND.
Previously, three men in Phu Tho province also created a closed group on Zalo to post locations and patrols of traffic police so that traffic violators can find ways to deal with them.
Specifically, Lam Thao District Police discovered 3 closed groups on Zalo named “Drinking Meeting”; “Lam Thao Weather Forecast”; “Lam Thao Center for Hydrometeorology” with more than 1,000 members.
These groups often post information related to the location, patrol and control locations of the Traffic Police force of Lam Thao district and neighboring areas.
During the investigation, Lam Thao District Police identified the group leader, who was also the person directly in charge of all activities of the above groups, as Bui Quang H. (born in 1988, in Son Vi commune, Lam Thao district); Nguyen Duc A. (born in 2001, in Thach Son commune, Lam Thao district); Nguyen Van H. (born in 1970, in Lam Thao town, Lam Thao district).
Lam Thao District Police consolidated the records and handled administrative violations against the above 3 cases with a fine of 17.5 million VND, and at the same time required them to delete Zalo groups with illegal activities.
