Strictly handle cases of "taking advantage of policies" for personal gain

In the first quarter, internal affairs were directed to be implemented promptly, ensuring political security, social order and safety. The Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity Prevention and Control has led and directed the implementation strictly and in accordance with regulations. Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units have proactively issued and implemented plans to prevent and combat corruption, waste and negativity; combining prevention with proactive detection and strict handling of corruption, waste and negativity cases. Judicial reform has received attention. Judicial agencies have coordinated well in initiating investigations, prosecuting and adjudicating; the quality of investigation, prosecution, adjudication and execution of judgments has been increasingly improved, contributing significantly to maintaining stability in security and order, serving the socio-economic development tasks of the province.

At the conference, delegates clarified the results achieved, difficulties and obstacles in internal affairs, anti-corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform in the area and some recommendations in each specific field, especially coordination work, related to security and order work when there is no longer a district-level police...

In his concluding remarks, Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong requested that in the second quarter, the Steering Committee, agencies, units and localities focus on disseminating and thoroughly grasping the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws on internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform. Especially the policies related to the arrangement of organizations and apparatus; doing well the political and ideological work among cadres, party members and civil servants; enhancing the proactiveness of advisory agencies in the assigned areas, not leaving areas vacant or tasks overlooked; strengthening coordination in management, strictly handling cases of taking advantage of policies for personal gain.

The Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested internal affairs agencies, units and localities to strengthen coordination and effectively carry out the work of receiving people and handling complaints and denunciations, especially at the grassroots level.
