The woman was taken out of court by security officers.

CNN reported on October 19 that a female court employee in New York City (New York State, USA) was arrested after coming forward to support Mr. Donald Trump right at the civil trial of the former president.

The incident happened at a courthouse in Manhattan when the unidentified employee suddenly approached Mr. Trump, before being stopped by security officers.

According to a statement from the New York City Court Administration, the woman "disrupted the proceedings by standing up, walking toward the front of the court and shouting to Mr. Trump that she wanted to help him."

Security personnel removed the woman and no one was harmed in the incident.

The Court Administration Office said the employee was charged with contempt of court and disrupting proceedings and was placed on immediate administrative leave pending an investigation.

In another development at the trial, according to The Guardian, Judge Arthur Engoron also ordered Mr. Trump and others not to speak loudly.

Mr Engoron spoke after the former president angrily raised his hands and shouted at his lawyers while a witness was giving testimony.

Mr. Trump appeared in court for the second consecutive day on October 18 (local time). He attended the first three days, but did not attend the days last week.

Former President Trump appears in court in 'pocket money' lawsuit

Previously in September 2022, Ms. Letitia James filed a civil lawsuit, accusing the Trump Organization of "countless fraudulent acts and misrepresentations" in financial reports from 2011-2021.

The New York Attorney General's Office also sued the Trump Organization for $250 million in damages, barred individuals involved from serving as business leaders in New York, and banned the corporation from engaging in business transactions for five years.

Last month, Judge Arthur Engoron ruled last week that Mr. Trump and his two sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, committed financial fraud for nearly a decade in order to benefit from loans and insurance.
